Jeannene L. First of all, this ia a duplex unit which is not clear in the pictures. We met the other people in the duplex and we both noted how we did not hear the other. The rental is toward the front of the private neighborhood so a lot of people drive past to get to their places.

The reason we chose this unit was because of the quiet time policy and proximity to where we wanted to be in the day. It was very quiet except for the noise from the traffic. I haven't stayed in South Lake Tahoe area before so maybe all the rentals are like this on busy streets. The area was pretty packed with people and there was construction on the road. Luckily the turn off for this rental was before all of that.

The location for us was really great because we wanted to hike Desolation Wilderness and kayak Fallen Leaf Lake and Emerald Bay. It was within a half hour for both. We also had bikes and loved the bike paths that were close by.

When we arrived at the check in time and the person was still cleaning and it took an extra half hour for them to finish. Not usually a big deal but my back had just gone out and I desperately needed to lie down. I can't comment on the cleaning because we needed to get in and the cleaning person rushed to finish.

The best thing about the place is the bed! Super comfy! I can't remember ever renting a place where the bed was so great.

Someone did a nice job of giving the unit contemporary look. Looked like a lot of the stuff was form Ikea. The one thing they forgot was to install towel bars in the bathroom. There is no where to hang a towel.

The managers were great. They were very attentive and let us know they were always there if we ran into any big problem or had questions.

Alberto M. The property was as shown in the pictures. It was very clean and well equipped with all that we needed. The cabin was clean and the grounds were well cared for. The management was great, communicated via email and let us know they were there to help if we needed. I would highly recommend this listing. The location was great for the activities we wanted to do. The bike paths, shopping and great food were all close by.. We would stay here again.

Kyle S. A wonderful property with everything you need. I stayed here for an extended work trip and felt like I was at home. Modern and convenient.

Pros. Location convent. Was there for mountain/road cycling. Very close to great bike paths and trails. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Kitchen well equipped & clean towels and linens. Cons: Advertised pool/hot tub - None on property. TV - couldn't even get a local news channel. Reported a few things broken; no response. Fix this and get 5 stars. Would stay again.
