The property backs up to forested national parkland with a creek-side trail leading to the Potomac River. This lower-level one-bedroom apartment is situated in a newly renovated modern, residential home designed by Robert Gurney, one of Washington, DC’s most famous architects. It is two-levels: It has a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and a modern sofa that folds flat to a double bed in the living room, along with a twin-size day bed. The modern kitchen, bathroom and washer/dryer are on the upper level of the apartment four steps from the living area. Should you have visiting family or friends, the apartment can accommodate up to 5 guests. Amenities include full kitchen with dishwasher, stove and oven; newly renovated bath with shower; and stacking washer & dryer in the closet. There is a sitting area with sofa and day bed facing a flat screen HDTV with on-demand programming through Apple TV, and bookshelf with sound system. There is also a dining table for four next to the large windows. There is a table & chairs in the covered entrance for outdoor dining or relaxing. Plentiful and unrestricted street parking in front of the property. Located in one of the safest neighborhoods in Washington, DC.
