Lori D. WE were extremely happy with the unit. It had some issues, as with any rental in the price range we paid (about $140 a night as the island was opening and it was a new listing). Biggest issue was poor sleep due to terrible master mattress. I looked and it was a very old mattress. There was an issue with everything sliding: shower door, closet door off track, drawers wouldn't pull open easily, one fell out on my foot. inexpensive, but matching furniture. The master bed was like a rock and my boyfriend is a side sleeper. We let management know ASAP, but they are a national company, and said they would check with the local resources they had. Night one- no sleep. Night two- boyfriend slept on the couch (it was our anniversary). Night three we got the bright idea to try the second bedroom. Improved but not great, and not an option for a family where other people are in the room. Management said they couldn't replace the mattress and never got back to us about getting a foam topper. WE finally got some rest on night 3 due to changing rooms but overslept and were scrambling to pack for the VERY EARLY 10 AM check out. They said no extension/late check out, not even after knowing abouot our ****** sleep situation. They said there was no other condo the housekeeping could clean and it had to be ours. WE told them we would take until 1115. We returned later when we realized we had left my ID in the room. It was 1230. No housekeeping in the place madly cleaning. Turned out, they were cleaning another room upstairs and it would have been just fine if we had to check out at 12. Management got someone to fix the shower door quickly. The condo was clean. The beach access and amenities were great. Sauna was closed as well as other amenities which were not advertised on the site, so that was disappointing. Rigid management, minimally helpful during our stay. If you inquire and mattresses haven't been replaced, I'd stay elsewhere.

I have stayed at this location for years and this is my first bad experience. You can reach the management company and they are nice and apologetic but nothing ever is handled. You cannot speak to the particular person who can help you. There is always several go betweens. Go somewhere else.

March 2021

We stayed in this unit for 6 weeks, from mid-January to end July 2021. To say this unit was a disappointment is an understatement.

Paint chipping on woodwork, furniture, and cabinets. Inadequate lighting and broken, lamps with stained lampshades. Impossible-to-clean tile countertops. Rust stained refrigerator and stove. Half inch to three quarter inch gap in master bedroom patio door, with the wind howling through. Non-working bathroom outlets in two of three bathrooms. Non-working tv and cable box in the living room, which both needed to be replaced. Non-functioning ceiling light/fan in the living room. Repair issues were resolved, but should have been addressed BEFORE we ever arrived.

These problems could be somewhat overlooked if the condo was spotlessly clean. But it was filthy.
**Dead cockroaches IN THE REFRIGERATOR when we checked in, and no lack of live ones crawling on countertops, up the refrigerator, up bedroom walls, out from under shoes on the floor.
**The clear glass shelves on either side of the bar area had not been wiped down, and every glass sat in a layer of dust.
**While sheets appeared changed and clean, bedspreads were questionably clean. We stripped and washed all the bedding before sleeping in it.
**The same with throw pillows. Who knows if they are ever cleaned?
**The outdoor patio was full of grass clippings, and we had to wash down the chairs, which were covered with bird droppings.

The beds were comfortable. The complex location and the ground floor location were convenient. However, the indoor pool and hot tub were often not the right temp, and the outdoor hot tub was so hot you couldn’t use it.

Because of the problems we experienced, we would not stay in this condo or at this complex again, and would hesitate to rent from TurnKey in the future.
