Our 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom historic cabin is located just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Ouray. This quaint residence, which was built in 1898, combines historic charm with modern conveniences.

See details below.****STR Permit #2020-1053This remodeled cabin, fully stocked kitchen with modern appointments which compliment the rustic mountain feel of the home. It has two separate outdoor spaces that are perfect for enjoying the mountain air and taking in the surrounding views. Both are equipped with tables and chairs and there's a gas grill located on the back deck.This cabin is the perfect home base for four wheeling, ice climbing, fishing, hiking, or for whatever Ouary adventure you have in store! Bed Configuration:Master Bedroom -- King Bed - Second Level2nd Bedroom -- 2 Twins - Main Level3rd Bedroom - 2 Twins - Day Bed with a TrundleThe main floor includes a spacious living room with large windows, artwork, doors out to the front garden patio and seating. On the main level are two bedrooms -- one with two twin beds and the other with a daybed and a trundle. There's also a full bath will take you back in time with a water closet and old-fashioned claw foot tub; there is also a modern walk-in shower with stone tile finishes. The unit also has a stackable washer/dryer. Satellite TV and WiFi are provided. There is room to park two vehicles in the driveway and there is additional parking in front of the house on the street.This property is pet friendly and the pet fee is $25/per day (with a maximum fee of $150 per stay). There is also a 2 dog maximum.We are taking special steps to prepare our home for your stay by adhering to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance on cleaning and disinfecting. In addition to our normal rigorous cleaning regimen, we are following the CDC’s protocols, paying close attention to high touch surfaces, and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for hard (non-porous) surfaces, soft (porous) surfaces, and electronics. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc. are washed per the manufacturer's guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure. One of the ways we’re doing this is through no-contact guest access via our keyless entry system. We look forward to welcoming you to our home and hosting your stay. COVID-19 Cancellation Policy (applies to reservations booked after April 21, 2020): A payment of $300 is required to reserve the property at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is fully refundable if the reservation is canceled at least 30 days prior to the arrival date, which is when the full reservation payment is due. After the final payment is made, and up to 7 days prior to arrival, the dates of the reservation may be changed without penalty (note the nightly rate might be higher) or 100% of the payment amount can be applied as a credit for a future stay (within 12 months of the booking date). Cancellations or changes to the reservation that result in a shortened stay, which are made within seven (7) days prior to the scheduled arrival date, will forfeit the entire reservation amount.

OURAY MAYFIELD CABIN REVIEW

Darin B. Overall it was a great experience. Mary Beth and Keith were Very helpful and flexible especially since we were waffling the two weeks leading up to our stay due to the wildfires and at last minute switched locations from Durango to Ouray. Mayfield cabin was just one of two locations we settled on in Ouray. Both were perfect for our families needs even if they were a few blocks apart. Very convenient to ’s hard to say anything bad about Ouray honestly. Locations were absolutely beautiful. It’s hard to find a bad view there. All the residents; migrant and permanent; were very friendly. The only complaint I can think of is it’s proximity to 550 ( the main thoroughfare thru town) made for a little more road noise at nite compared to our other location. Lots of traffic going to and fro all day and into the night. But at same time if your a people watcher it’s front patio is great place to watch the coming and goings of any given day in Ouray.

SO MUCH CHARACTER IN A PERFECT LOCATION!

Brooks G. This was the perfect house in the BEST location. It had so much character and was super clean. The fenced in front yard was great for our dogs and the backyard was awesome for grilling. Not to mention the views! When renting, you expect to have the essentials but this house was stocked with everything we needed and more. We cannot say enough great things about it and hope to stay here again. Property manager and owners were super quick to respond and so accommodating. We recommend Mojo's for coffee, had a wonderful dinner at BrickHouse 737, and beers on the rooftop of Ouray Brewery are a must...amazing views. We also rented a Jeep from Switzerland of America and UTV's from Colorado West Jeep Rentals, both were easy and friendly. Hiked Ice and Island Lakes, which was the highlight of our trip!

A GREAT GETAWAY IN THE MOUNTAINS

Richard R. Location excellent and house in good condition Nice backyard with patio and excellent view of mountains! Loved that the house was on main street. We walked everywhere which was perfect for us! We would've liked to have a DVD player but there wasn't one. Also no bathroom upstairs in master bedroom. stairs were precariously steep We'd recommend adding a non-slip material to the stairs. And there was a mouse in the house but since we had dogs with us, didn't want to set any traps.
