Comfy home but some furniture was broken and tub did not hold water so you couldn’t take a bath. Was not made aware of that. Dog hair on sheets and some trim needed repaired. A couple window panes were not attached to the windows.
Spoke with someone about sending pictures but have not heard back yet.
House big and inviting. One bed frame was broken, but agent came out and repaired. Two chairs at breakfast table broken; no one came to repair. Cleaning looks hurried and meh. I went to vacuum up some crumbs and both vacuums in the house dirt cup so full and disgusting. Utensils in drawer greasy. No large pots or large baking dishes. Coded lock did not work, but we used a key in lockbox.
PICTURE PERFECT, EXPERIENCE LESS SO
In the photos the house looks great. On closer inspection, there is quite a lot of work to do. Very disappointed in the lack of preparation for our visit. The windows had significant issues: some without screens, a broken handle, screens falling in in the kitchen. Very uncomfortable when it was hot. The lovely tub was not usable as the stopper was broken. A cabinet screw was stripped and we had to keep tightening it manually. A handyman was sent, but could not make any repairs as parts had to be ordered, etc. Plus, a loud buzz kept us awake for 2 nights, only to find out it was water filling the pool. The washing machine did not always start easily, and the basement smells like mildew. Additionally, 2 very long hairs were found in my bed between the two pillows (I have very short hair). I had to spend too much of my time being disrupted by house big disappointment was that it appeared that nothing was attended to prior to our arrival. I’m truly sorry this is negative, but after being home bound, like the rest of the world, during COVID, to have a lovely 2-week vacation with a house that had so many problems was untenable. The local property management was a bit defensive when I pointed out the problems.
