We were in town for our sons wedding at the Navy Yard, while this house is on the other side of town Uber made it a snap to get there. We wanted a place where the whole family, multigenerational could stay. This was it and it was fabulous. It had the “quiet. Neighborhood" appeal for the older family members, while great nightlife was just outside the door for the younger ones. We hosted/catered the rehearsal dinner on the roof top deck( so many food options in center of Dupont Circle). The house even had champagne flutes. All agreed it was the perfect way to go. Lots of space/value for a DC destination. We will be booking this lovely home each time we come to DC to visit the kids.AMENITIES * TV in living room* Roof top deck* Full kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, other appliances * Deck off kitchen * Washer / dryer * Fireplace * 3 bedrooms, 3 beds (queen & double beds), 3 full baths* Parking in back (fee) LOCATION:DuPont Circle is a vibrant neighborhood and great location from which to experience Washington, DC. OUR VISIT TO THE NATION'S CAPITAL
No reflection on the house, but the housekeeping was terrible. When we arrived, the dishwasher was full of dishes, the beds weren't made, and all of the sheets were piled high on a sofa. All of the bathrooms didn't have soap, and those that did only had one bar for the sink and none for the shower. We reported this to the management company, and the representative apologized. I asked for the housekeeping fee to be adjusted seeing that I spent the first few hours of my stay folding laundry, making beds, and emptying the dishwasher. Disappointed that they still charged us for housekeeping.
WONDERFUL LOCATION FOR A DC VACATION
Our experience with the management company was mixed. We very much appreciated their flexibility in accommodating our check-in and check-out times. This was very helpful. The information provided to us concerning codes, passwords, and logistical advice was incorrect on the attachments, which created confusion upon our arrival. They apologized and I'm sure they will be more careful in the future.
