Kristina A. This house was in the best location! you can get downtown very easy and even see the roof of the spaceneedle. We tried a few neighborhood restaurants as well and that was fun. I would go back to this exact house. The layout was great with the basement level, the kids were able to watch movies, while adults gathered around the fireplace upstairs to talk. Excellent.

SEATTLE WEEKEND

We really enjoyed this house! We used every room as there were 4 of us plus 16 month-old twins; our daughter and her boyfriend only live a mile away so they were also with us most of the time. Nice workable layout and a very well-stocked kitchen. Most meals were cooked at the house using the Viking stove and the backyard BBQ. Wonderful towels in the bathrooms and comfortable beds. We would have loved to have used the front deck, but we had rain and everything out there was wet. The house is located perfectly to get to Ballard or to downtown Seattle. Lots of stairs, but you were rewarded with beautiful views. We were only there for two nights, but definitely will stay longer the next time. We always appreciate finding a house that is comfortable, clean and well-stocked.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Lawrence H. We were very disappointed with our experience. We arrived after dark and discovered that access to the front door was up 3 very steep flights of stairs one of which had no handrails. Another steep flight of stairs took us to the master bedroom. Because of the physical challenges, we decided that we couldn't stay so we notified the property manager that we would leaving. We never used the property. We were not offered a full or even partial refund even though we did not use the property at all. Had we known of the challenging access, we would not have booked the property.

Nadine G. I have rented many homes through VRBO in the past, and have never had a major issue with any property. This time we experienced a big one, and the property management team worked with us in a timely and appropriate manor. The stove had a gas leak and the Turnkey property team tried to house us in a different location after turning off the gas. With college graduation all over the city, we couldn't find a suitable location. Because we could not cook in the home for our stay (after purchasing groceries) they offered a discounted price to stay. Everyone wins here - as we were pleased with the response of the property management, and my college daughter and her roommates had a stocked fridge!
As far as the home goes, the pictures are accurate. The basement stairs are not quite friendly to older persons, as they are slightly uneven and narrow. The ceilings are low in the basement as well. But the beds are extremely comfortable and the hosts left shampoo/conditioner/soap for our stay.
We also met the next door neighbor, and he was a pleasure; so the neighborhood is safe and friendly as well.
