LITTLE OASIS IN THE DESERT

June 2020

Very relaxing getaway! Will definitely come back!

LUMINA GARDENS TAOS NM

July 2020

We had family stay in two of the casitas for a week in the summer. Everything was great with one exception. The fact that all communication is done electronically and there was no one physically onsite was inconvenient. For example, I needed to let someone know that a workman was doing repairs early in the morning and bothering my guests. They had come to rest. I couldn't get in touch with someone in real time. I texted about it, but received no reply. My guess is that this is a TurnKey process (no onsite people). But, the process slows down communication rather than enhances it.

GREAT PLACE, POOR WIFI, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

October 2020

Jordan J. This place was so very cool, the grounds were gorgeous and meticulously maintained, the inside of the Airbnb were awesome, such great architectural and interior design. It was however in a cell phone dead spot (Verizon) and the WiFi network we were told to use had such weak signal it was impossible to connect to it on either of our phones, my tablet, or my computer. There were about 7 or 8 WiFi networks that would transiently appear but only one with any meaningful strength (it was the one the smart TV and provided tablet were connected to) I messaged a representative who again suggested I restart my devices and try to connect to those same low signal networks (clearly not a device issue but I did it), then gave me another network log in which was not the network with some degree of signal strength even though I very plainly said "the only network with strength is.." I was then forwarded to another representative and after telling them, again, that there was only one network with strength they then didn't respond. So it was difficult with no cell service and no WiFi to do any trail hiking planning, food planning, etc, we either had to drive into town to get cell service or drive to our friends house to use their WiFi. So it was a great place, but pretty disappointing experience for something that shouldn't have had to be this much of a headache, so at the price, I can't recommend someone staying here.
