AMENITIES: • Three-mile-long very private pink-sand beach without a single house or other structure on it, usually deserted • Heated pool • All condominiums at Buttonwood come with access to a fleet of golf carts at no charge • Kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, boogie boards, outdoor grills, and more all available at no charge We just completed a new pickleball court! Our mini-gym is equipped with a multifunction smith machine cage with precision linear bearings, an Olympic weight rack, dip station, and a cable routed pulley system. Guests also have access to dumbbells and a fitness/yoga mat. This is an open-air gym (fully roofed and with three walls). NEIGHBORHOOD: • 10 minute walk to LeoRose ocean front restaurant and to Mel’s Snack Shack take-out • 1 mile from the village of James Cistern with 3 grocery stores, liquor store, two restaurants, and famous Stubbs Barbecue. Beautiful property plenty of room for everybody!

We had a party of 16 and each family had their own unit which was plenty of space. The house (Building #2)was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer with all the kids beach clothes. The beds were so comfortable and loved the decor throughout. The property manager was great and helpful. I understand that living on an island things don’t hold up as well with all the salty air. But the golf carts and barbecue area did need a little help. We hired Brenda and Patrick to help with dinners for a couple nights, they were a very sweet couple. The kept us full and happy. Do be prepared for food and prep to be very expensive.
Unfortunately, the weather was not ideal when we were there the week before Christmas. But we did see sunshine a couple days. The locals are super helpful with car rentals, restaurants and things to do. We did a half day excursion with Sheldon at Exotic Excursions. The kids favorite part was feeding the stingrays and the pig island. In the evenings, when the tide was low, the kids really enjoyed, taking the kayaks out and searching for Sandollar, starfish and sea urchin in the tide pools out in front of the house.

Loved Buttonwood. Mark the property manager was super friendly and helpful! The apartment was spotless and very fresh feeling, and the sunsets were beyond words. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

From the moment I arrived it was easy to get to this rental, all relevant information was provided by Pam and she is super sweet and accommodating. The unit it self is very well done with quality pottery barn accents and the property manager is very nice and helpful. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish and recommend this place.

The property was very nice. It was nice that each couple was able to have their own space when needed. The condos are furnished beautifully. The beds were so comfortable we did not want to get out of bed. The pool was always clean even after the storm and we all enjoyed swimming in it. They had kayaks and we used them several times. We also enjoyed CocoDeMama Beach, It was beautiful and only a 15 minute ride from the property. We would have liked to use the large patio but you had to purchase that separetly. My only suggestion is that you make that area available to everyone staying in the complex. We were very satisified with our stay. the property location was centrally located. The owners and managers were very professional. The noseeums attacked the entire time and nothing seemed to deter them. For that reason I don't know if I would ever go back to the island but our stay was fantastic!!!!
