SPIDERS AND DEAD MICE

Christi M. This home is in a great location! It’s plenty big enough for a nice get away. You’ll get plenty of exercise just climbing the stairs:) It was clean. I would suggest towels, hot pads and wash cloths for the kitchen. I would suggest a better pest control due to the fact there were so many spiders in the basement; my daughter left early due to the amount, even finding them in the toilet. We had to leave early due to dead mice and even though we reached out we were never helped with any of the issues. The overall experience was disappointing and we didn’t get to finish our stay and we were never offered help or compensation for the early check out. I would not recommend this rental unless intense changes were made especially with management!

NEEDS A VISIT TO TARGET!

No guaranteed parking is included, a first for me, and absurd, but fortunately one of the four spaces across from the garages was available due to the timing of the trip and COVID. If not, we’d have to park 100 – 300 yards away. Good luck to anyone that rents mid-season post Covid. Unit is a bit worn/dated, especially some of the kitchen cabinets, feeling as though the doors are about to fall off at any time, and carpets stained throughout. Owner should spend $100 and buy matching juice, water, and wine glasses, if not for the renter, then for themselves. It’s unacceptable that 5 people can’t have matching glassware. Bathrooms, bedrooms, and bonus loft are nice. Get rid of the cot in the closet (I moved into the furnace room) as we’d like to hang stuff. Not sure why it’s even there as you state maximum of 6 people only and there is plenty of bed space. And the filthy/dusty vacuum doesn’t need to be in the entrance closet and certainly something we don’t need to see two minutes into our stay. Carpets should be steamed as look poorly maintained. The space is great, but small upgrades would make the stay more enjoyable. TurnKey was very responsive to any calls we placed, even though their hands were tied regarding utilizing the owner’s garage.
