1004 Captains Court#

After looking online at over 50 other options we selected 104 Captains Court. This condo is in the building closest to the Omni hotel building but does not feel like it is next door. When on the beach there’s as plenty of space to enjoy the Florida sunshine and ocean. The beach was not crowded. The only negative to the property outdoor areas was that there were TONS of stairs. Lots of stairs from the parking lot that were under a canopy of trees. Lots of stairs up to the building and turn down to the beach via a LONG walkway. Entry level includes a tiled floor room with a broom closet and laundry room. The washer and dryer were new and worked well, and there was a drying rack. Up about 8 steps to the 2nd floor. The condo had a comfortable family room and dining room with great views on the 2nd floor. There were about 8 steps up to the 3rd floor that including two bedrooms, a bath in the hall & one with en suite full bath. Up about 8 more steps to an open room (like a sitting room with a daybed and desk. A doorway leads to the master bedroom and bath. Overall, the redecoration of the condo is successful, but we would not rent again due to the uncomfortable mattresses, the lack of easy use of the patio of the master because the door didn’t open easily. Additionally, the condo was not cleaned to our expectations. Covid-19 cleaning has dominated but this condo had excessive coffee stains in the kitchen sink that it took me 4 paper towels to clean. There was grime all around the kitchen sink and bathroom sinks. There was loose sand all over the entry table. There was grime around the master bath sink. There was more, but I believe this is a sign of a company that has too many properties to properly assure proper results. We alerted the staff of cleanliness issue and there was no follow up. We also killed at least 20 bugs each night in two of the bedrooms. There is no cable TV. Bring your own jet-dry for the extreme spotting on dishes/glasses after dishwash

very tight space for a 3BR. Uncomfortable for more than 4 adults. Kitchen so small it only fits 1 person at a time. No cabinet space at all for storing any food. Also on 3 levels, so lots of
stairs. Had unfortunate situation on day 2 with invasion of flying ants, covering the walls, drapes, crawling in our ears in bed.
Mgt company was very accommodating and moved us to another unit. I would highly recommend Amelia Rental & Management, but not 1004 Captains Court.

Arrived to a sparkling clean townhouse that had everything we needed. Great location, nice wide beach, very comfortable furnishings. Everything we asked for!

Carter M. Place was perfect for our trip. RIGHT next to the Omni where we had wedding festivities. 10 high school friends of guys and girls all together and we enjoyed our time!
