How to Activate Whimstay on Your Track Portal

Setting up Payment Method

1. Log into your Track Account.

2. Click on the configuration icon in the upper right corner

3. On the PMS Setup tab, under the Accounting column, click on “Payment Methods”

4. Click on “+ Payment Method” to create a new payment method

5. Fill out the Payment Method information accordingly and click on “Save Type”

Setting up Whimstay as a Distribution Channel

1. Navigate back to the Configuration page by clicking on the configuration icon in the upper right corner.

2. On the PMS Setup Tab, Under the Property Management column, click on “Distribution Channels”

3. Click “Create Channel” and select “New Channel” in the drop-down

4. Fill out the channel settings information accordingly

Setting up a Reservation Type

1. Navigate back to configuration by clicking on the configuration icon in the upper right corner

2. Under the Reservations column, select “Reservation Type”

3. Click on “+ Reservation Type” to add a new reservation type

4. Fill out the Reservation Type information accordingly and click on “Save Type”

Setting up a Rate Type

1. Select the Property Management tab on the left panel and select Rate types.

2. Select “Rate Type” to create a rate type for Whimstay.

Obtaining your API Key

1. Navigate back to configuration by clicking on the configuration icon in the upper right corner

2. Under the Property Management column, select “Distribution Channel”

3. Search for Whimstay in the search bar. Click “Edit” on the right side

4. At the top right of the Edit Channel page, you will find the API Key Information.

5. Please copy and email the Endpoint URL, Key & Secret to your dedicated Whimstay Account Manager.
