“From a product-market fit and a value proposition standpoint, Whimstay not only offered travelers the best deals available. We did so in a really cool and fun way. But we also filled a significant need for property managers who desperately wanted an alternative to the larger travel sites. These sites have become less user-friendly with property managers and increasingly expensive. And where those property managers have limited leverage with those larger sites to do anything about it.”
CEO David Weiss speaks to Grit Daily about Whimstay’s journey and future growth in this Q&A with Darren Paltrowitz of the award-winning show: Paltrocast. In this interview, Weiss shares about Whimstay’s unique history, the problem it set out to solve, and how that value proposition has expanded. He shares that his team aims to “introduce and expand our value prop and go-to-market strategy beyond last-minute bookings. To extend to off-seasons, pre and post-holiday periods, weekdays leading into weekend getaway-type destinations, and the like.”
He also shares insights into the future of travel and his own life, from raising a teen daughter to vacation plans. Read more about the latest developments at Whimstay in the Paltrocast interview here.
