Ready for spring break? So is everyone else. Here’s what to expect.
USA Today shares insights from Whimstay CXO Noël Russell regarding travel trends for the upcoming Spring Break season this year.
USA Today writer Christopher Elliot forecasts that the coming season will be full of surprises. “Experts predict this spring break – typically from late February to the end of March – will be busier than last year’s and maybe busier than 2019. But this won’t be your typical travel season. Not even close.” says Elliot.
In a list of burgeoning trends, Whimstay Chief Experience Officer, Noël Russell, says Spring Break travelers will be focusing on adventures closer to home. “These closecations will be an increasing trend for travelers who want to experience the joy of a vacation while staying within their budget and maintaining more control over their experiences,” shares Russell.
Elliot also shares how to effectively plan for travel this Sprin amidst a challenging economy, travel disruptions, and emerging trends. He shares where to go based on Priceline’s most popular domestic destinations and what to do when you get there.
